You’ll handle everything from warehouse organisation, product installations, delivery coordination, customer support, and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery and Installation:

  • Execute the timely and safe delivery of furniture and home appliances, which includes Two-Wheeler Delivery, assisting in four-wheeler delivery, and managing the loading and unloading of every vehicle.
  • Handle the complete delivery workflow, including managing associated charges, confirming logistics (showroom or godown pickups), and addressing initial on-site customer issues.
  • Perform proper setup and installation of products, particularly in Office Chair Fittings and assist as a Helper for Godrej Fittings.
  • Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on product usage, maintenance, warranties, and servicing options.

Warehouse Management:

  • Ensure efficient organisation and management of the warehouse, including continuous Warehouse Maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Oversee the receiving and inspection of shipments, checking for damages or defects, and notifying the manager of product rejects and issues.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe.

Assembly and Repairs:

  • Perform basic repairs of appliances and minor adjustments to Furniture.
  • Assemble and install various furniture pieces, including basic familiarity with Godrej Almirah Basics, Godrej Tables, Other Tables, and Godrej Wardrobes/Dressers.
  • Conduct routine Showroom Display Adjustment and maintenance.

Customer Support:

  • Address all customer inquiries and complaints related to deliveries and installations.
  • Registering Customer Issues in the appropriate system for follow-up.
  • Accurately complete all delivery, installation, and procurement paperwork, maintaining precise receipts/paper/logs for purchases.

Logistics, Procurement, and Vehicle Maintenance

  • Plan delivery routes/schedules and coordinate with customers for delivery times.
  • Manage vehicle upkeep, including washing vehicles.
  • Execute minor procurement tasks, specifically Oil purchase and Other purchases required for operations.

Product Knowledge:

  • Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the products to provide helpful information to customers.
  • Researching to gain in-depth knowledge of product features, operation, and technology.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensuring the safety of delivery and installation processes for both customers and the team.
  • Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines while working with appliances and heavy furniture.

Documentation:

  • Accurately completing delivery and installation paperwork and maintaining records.
  • Documenting product knowledge, technical specifications, and quality control.

Equipment and Tools:

  • Using and maintaining the tools and equipment necessary for assembly and installation.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Sharing feedback and insights to enhance overall performance.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensuring products are delivered, installed, and maintained to high-quality standards.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and providing suggestions for enhancement.

Qualifications

  • Safety awareness is crucial when handling products and installations.
  • Adaptability is necessary for a dynamic retail environment.

Preferred

  • Driving experience with a Driver’s License

Tasks

Delivery and Installation:

  • Implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to ensure that older inventory is sold before newer stock.
  • Execute two-wheeler deliveries and assist in all four-wheeler deliveries.
  • Coordinate with customers to confirm delivery times and requirements.
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of furniture and home appliances to customers’ homes.
  • Ensure that products are delivered and installed to a high standard of quality.
  • Set up and install appliances and furniture, following our manuals/manufacturer guidelines.
  • Provide demonstrations to customers on how to use and maintain the products.
  • Inform customers regarding warranties, servicing, etc. and how to contact us if they face issues.

Warehouse Management:

  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe for all team members.
  • Oversee the organisation of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of products.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and perform regular stock checks.
  • Prepare products for delivery and manage the loading and unloading process.
  • Receive shipments of products from suppliers and verify the accuracy of the order against the packing list or purchase order.
  • Conduct a thorough inspection of products to check for any damage, defects, or missing parts.
  • Notify rejects and other Warehouse-related issues to the Manager.
  • Use and maintain the tools and equipment necessary for assembly and installation.
  • Execute general vehicle upkeep, including Vehicle Wash.

  • Perform full installation/fittings of the Chairs category and assist in other furniture categories, whether for the Showroom/Godown or in a customer’s place.
  • Perform minor repairs or adjustments on Appliances and other Furniture when necessary.

Customer Support:

  • Address customer inquiries related to deliveries, installations, and product usage.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues related to deliveries or installations, resolving them professionally and efficiently.

Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the products being delivered and installed to provide helpful information to customers.
  • Delve deep into the technical aspects and functionality of the products offered.
  • Research and seek in-depth knowledge of the features, operation, and technology behind the products.
  • Complete delivery and installation paperwork accurately and maintain records.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth flow of operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with operations and support related to Other Lengliim Venture assignments.

Why do we follow hourly pay system?

We follow an hourly pay structure to account for the extra hours that may be required on certain days, such as when we need to deliver a product at closing hours.
This ensures that our employees are compensated for their extra effort in providing exceptional customer service at Lengliim.

Internship/Training Period

As a skills-based employment position, a probation/training period of at least 1 month (or 26 working days) is required to familiarise the employee with the work environment.
During this period, the Company will provide a total monthly stipend of Rs 8,000 (Rs 307 per day), with deductions for any days of absence, if required.

This probationary period also serves as an evaluation phase to determine if the employee aligns with the Lengliim work culture.

Completion of the probation period does not guarantee employment. An employment contract will be offered upon satisfactory completion of the probation period, provided the employee is deemed a suitable fit for the organisation.
