JOB OVERVIEW |
Join us as a Service Associate, where you’ll be the backbone of our operations. You’ll handle everything from warehouse organization, product installations, delivery coordination, customer support, and product knowledge sharing. Join our team and help us maintain our high standards of service. There will be a one-month probation period for us to get to know each other and see if we can work together. |
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
Delivery and Installation: Timely and safe delivery of furniture and home appliances.Proper setup and installation of products as per manufacturer guidelines.Providing product demonstrations and educating customers on product usage and maintenance.Informing customers about warranties and servicing options. Warehouse Management: Efficient organization and management of the warehouse.Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock checks. Preparing products for delivery and overseeing loading and unloading processes receiving and inspecting shipments from suppliers, ensuring order accuracy, and checking for damages or defects. Assembly and Repair: Assembling furniture and appliances as required.Performing minor repairs or adjustments on products when necessary. Customer Support: Addressing customer inquiries related to deliveries, installations, and product usage.Handling customer complaints and issues related to deliveries or installations, ensuring prompt and professional resolution. Logistics and Scheduling: Efficiently planning delivery routes and schedules to optimize operations. Coordinating with customers to confirm delivery times and requirements. Product Knowledge: Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the products to provide helpful information to customers.Researching to gain in-depth knowledge of product features, operation, and technology. Safety and Compliance: Ensuring the safety of delivery and installation processes for both customers and the team.Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines while working with appliances and heavy furniture. Documentation: Accurately completing delivery and installation paperwork and maintaining records. Documenting product knowledge, technical specifications, and quality control. Equipment and Tools: Using and maintaining tools and equipment necessary for assembly and installation. Team Collaboration: Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.Sharing feedback and insights to enhance overall performance. Quality Assurance: Ensuring products are delivered, installed, and maintained to high-quality standards.Identifying areas for improvement and providing suggestions for enhancement. Warehouse Maintenance: Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe for all team members.Notifying the manager of any rejects and other warehouse-related issues. |
QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED |

QUALIFICATIONS – PREFERRED |

TASKS
Delivery and Installation:
- Implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to sell older inventory before newer stock.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of furniture and home appliances to customers’ homes.
- Set up and install appliances and furniture, following our manuals/manufacturer guidelines.
- Provide demonstrations to customers on how to use and maintain the products.
- Inform customers regarding warranties, servicing, etc., and how to contact us if they face issues.
Warehouse Management:
- Oversee the organization of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of products.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and perform regular stock checks.
- Prepare products for delivery and manage the loading and unloading process.
- Receive shipments of products from suppliers and verify the accuracy of the order against the packing list or purchase order.
- Conduct a thorough inspection of products to check for any damages, defects, or missing parts.
- Notify rejects and other Warehouse-related issues to the Manager.
Assembly and Repair:
- Assemble furniture and appliances as required before delivery or for in-store displays.
- Perform minor repairs or adjustments on products when necessary.
Customer Support:
- Address customer inquiries related to deliveries, installations, and product usage.
- Handle customer complaints and issues related to deliveries or installations, resolving them professionally and efficiently.
Logistics and Scheduling:
- Plan delivery routes and schedules to optimize efficiency.
- Coordinate with customers to confirm delivery times and requirements.
Product Knowledge:
- Maintain a strong understanding of the products being delivered and installed to provide helpful information to customers.
- Delve deep into the technical aspects and functionality of the products offered.
- Research and seek in-depth knowledge of the features, operation, and technology behind the products.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure the safety of delivery and installation processes, both for customers and the team.
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while working with appliances and heavy furniture.
Documentation:
- Complete delivery and installation paperwork accurately and maintain records.
Equipment and Tools:
- Use and maintain tools and equipment necessary for assembly and installation.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth flow of operations and customer satisfaction.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that products are delivered and installed to a high standard of quality.
Warehouse Maintenance:
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe for all team members.

The Salary for a Service Associate – Full Timer can range from Rs (10,800 to 11,700) based on working hours.
